300,000 Watt Bittner Power

Bittner Audio provided 300,000 Watt amplifying power for the new commercial real estate project The Place in Beijing. The installer was Sunlight System Integration Ltd., Bittner’s exclusive distributor in China.

Shi Mao Tian Jie (“Heavenly Street of World Trade”) is The Place’s formal business name. The operators promise the latest in retail, dining and entertainment experience within its 80,000 square metre retail shopping area, two 25 storey office buildings, and innovative outdoor spaces.

A huge 250 x 30 metre Sky Screen roofs it all and provides a unique combination of colors, sound and light. The aim is to offer a safe and large-scale leisure, fashion and shopping experience. The Place was opened to the public in autumn 2006.
