Bittner Audio in the Donbass Arena: Top Sound for a Top Stadium
Bittner’s new Ukrainian distributor Kompeks-V supplied nearly 400,000 Watts for the new Donbass Arena in Donetsk. The stadium is venue of the European Football Championship 2012 and home ground of the Ukranian premier league club Shakhtar Donetsk. The Arena will also be used for concerts and shows.
22 modules of Bittner 4X1400 power amplifiers, 10 modules 4X700 and 42 modules XR 2000 supply a generous capacity for all events. For control and monitoring 16 Bittner SXL are used. The connection to 16 AX16 amplifier switches guarantees maximal operational safety. In an emergency the correct level and all other DSP settings will be transmitted to the backup amplifier in 250 milliseconds only.
